Welcome to the world of Qubit, a revolutionary fair-play-to-earn massive multiplayer online game that integrates Web3 technologies for a more immersive, player-centric experiences.
The Qubit journey kicked off in spring 2023 when we, a group of friends that happen to be professional game designers, dove into a blockchain hackathon.
We'd been toying with the idea of crafting an open-world game for a while, a concept that started taking shape back in 2022 with our chats about how blockchain could shake up the gaming scene.
Initially, we experimented with a concept similar to a Lego game, aiming for a world built by players. But soon enough, we realised we were after something more unique. We wanted to make a game where you could not just play but create your own unique game elements and assets, making your mark within the game world. To get there, we hit the books hard, studying blockchain architecture and design at Howest University of Applied Sciences. That period wasn't just about learning the ropes of blockchain; it lit the spark for how we could weave this tech into a game in cool new ways. Right after we pitched our initial version, our project caught the eye of the blockchain researchers team at the university. This interest from the academic community was a huge boost for the team and not long after, a lecturer, captivated by our vision and potential, joined our team.
By summer 2023, things really started to pick up speed. We threw ourselves into designing the kind of worlds and gameplay that we envisioned would stand out. Over those months, our concepts went through fourteen different versions, each one refining our vision a bit more.
Now, we've hit a huge milestone: our creator tool isn't just an idea anymore; it's real and almost ready to release (on Arbitrum One?). This tool is all about letting players bring their own unique ideas to life in the Qubit world and own it as an NFT. It's a big win for us, showing how far we've come and how committed we are to making a game where your creativity plays a starring role.
With the Qubit project, we're right at the crossroads of gaming and blockchain, aiming to bring you an open-world experience that's as limitless as your imagination.

The Qubit Game is a fair-play-to-earn, free to play, skill based mmo where players can choose to be competitive and play PvP or sit back and grind their way in the PvE.
